Synopsis

When his family is slaughtered by a vampire, a young man named Martin is taken under the wing of Mister, a vampire hunter. Together, they travel across America in search of vampires, while also trying to avoid getting killed themselves. Along the way, they pick up a few other stragglers, including a pregnant woman and a young boy.

As they journey across the country, they face many challenges, both from the vampires themselves and from the humans they encounter. Some humans are helpful, while others are downright hostile. But Mister is always there to protect Martin and the others, and he always seems to know where the vampires are.

Eventually, they reach New Eden, a safe haven for humans run by a man named Brother Michael. Here, they hope to be able to rest and regroup, but they find that the vampires are already there, waiting for them.

With the help of the other humans, they manage to fight off the vampires and destroy New Eden in the process. But Mister is mortally wounded, and he tells Martin to go on without him.

Martin reluctantly agrees, and he sets off with the others, finally free from the vampires. But he knows that he will always be fighting them, until the day he can finally rest.
